At the Interior Desire Company, we offer a complete project management service and work alongside handpicked, trusted and qualified tradesmen and contractors to achieve that final required look the client is looking for. We aim to create luxurious and livable spaces for national and international private clients, developers and boutique hoteliers.

We have a number of highly reputable suppliers who can offer us the finest products, personally visiting each supplier to ensure quality, design and service.

At Interior Desire we offer services from advice on room layout, furniture placement, colour schemes and furniture selection, wall and floor coverings or just to add those finishing touches. We are happy to work with clients on a room-to-room basis or an entire property to create that luxury dream.

Initial Consultation

Each project starts with a no-charge initial meeting with the client at the property. This meeting will allow us to ascertain the exact requirements of your project in terms of style and budget.  This is an initial opportunity to discuss the project in details and take the brief.  During the “Discovery” meeting we learn about the client’s personality, their style, their lifestyle, tastes and aspirations. In essence to learn what is important to them in creating the new scheme, so that the finished project is a true reflection of them.  This is also an opportunity to ensure that any issues are identified and discussed before work commences on the project.  We would also discuss/outline budgets and timescale, so that the project can progress smoothly.

This meeting is followed by a written proposal to the client and then we would engage and work closely with the client while the project evolves.

Proposal

We will put forward the initial proposal that will cover the timeframe of the project including main milestones and the scope of the work to be undertaken. We will indicate our role and the role of other parties involved, including the client’s builders and architects.

As part of the proposal, we will also attempt to give a project cost estimate which will give you a rough idea of total costs, including furniture and fitting costs.

Initial Design Presentation

Depending on the size and scope of the project, it can take anywhere up to 2 to 6 weeks for the initial design presentation to be completed.

Once we are ready, we will meet you at your home and go through the draft design including the “mood” board.

We will discuss the space, layout, fixtures, colour scheme, lighting, furniture and all of the aspects of the design specified in the design brief.

It is at this point that you can advise on any changes that you may have in respect of the overall look, and then we can arrange an appropriate date for works to commence.
